Daryl joined Benchmark in 2008 and is an integral part of our portfolio management team. He and his wife, Suzanne, love spending time with their two adult children, Lindsey and Jordan, and their growing crew of grandchildren. Daryl is also an avid pickleball player, competing in numerous tournaments and proudly earning many medals. When he’s not on the pickleball court or fishing, you’ll likely find him cheering on his beloved Texas A&M Aggies, traveling, or spending time with their dog, Daisy. A true music lover, his office is always filled with tunes—ranging from soundtracks and worship music to the occasional oldie.

Armed with a B.B.A. in Business Management from Texas A&M and an M.B.A. in Marketing & Finance from SMU, Daryl brought decades of financial expertise to Benchmark. His 37 years at ACH Foods, where he specialized in finance, accounting, and commodity trading, prepared him for his role as an Investment Executive and Portfolio Manager. Known for his wisdom, leadership, and steadfastness, Daryl loves providing market updates to clients and lending his expertise to teammates. His passion for spreadsheets and market analysis makes him indispensable on our team (so much so, we’ve told him he can never retire!).
