Katie, a Mississippi native, joined the Benchmark team in June 2022 and is one of our valued paraplanners. She and her husband Robert have a blended family—as well as a golden doodle (Rex) and a cat (Molly). Katie loves traveling to new places, spending time with friends, and catching a quick nap when she can! She’s a reality TV enthusiast, loves keeping up with news-worthy court cases, thrifting on the weekends, and enjoys playing pickleball.

At Benchmark, Katie’s mission is to make every client feel valued. As one of Shannon’s paraplanners, she works alongside Lindsey, her partner in crime, forming a dynamic duo. Together, they make the client experience seamless, always striving to lighten Shannon’s load. Beyond her paraplanning role, Katie also contributes to the marketing team, adding her creative flair to everything she touches. Her empathetic nature, incredible leadership, and positive outlook make her an indispensable part of the Benchmark family. There’s not much Katie can’t do, and Benchmark is undoubtedly a better place because of her.
