Nancy is Benchmark’s Owner and CEO, with a distinguished career in financial planning that began in 1985. She is a proud Memphian and Tennessean, proudly cheering on her alma mater, the Tennessee Vols! She cherishes time spent with family and friends and is a devoted “Aunt Nan” to her great-niece, Ellie, and great-nephew, Felix – they have given her a new perspective on just about everything! She enjoys quiet days with her dogs (Dot and Aibee), indulging in a good book, and getting lost in her thoughts through journaling and writing. Nancy is a fountain pen enthusiast with an impressive collection, and she finds joy and relaxation in her Lego table, where assembling little buildings serves as a therapeutic escape.

Nancy founded Benchmark in 2000 after honing her skills and weathering setbacks throughout the 90s. Now with over 35 years of experience as a financial planner, she has grown Benchmark from a team of 2 to a thriving group of 20. She is licensed in over 25 states and holds registrations such as CFP®, CFS, Series 7, 63, and 24. She is also an Independent Certified Coach, Teacher, Trainer, and Speaker with Maxwell Leadership Certified Team. As a female business owner, Nancy deeply understands the unique challenges and opportunities women face in the financial realm. She is dedicated to maintaining the positive culture she has created at Benchmark, of which she is incredibly proud. One of her newest titles is Certified Dream Manager, a role that has deepened her commitment to speaking engagements. She is passionate about empowering others to pursue their dreams, whether they are financial aspirations or personal goals.
